PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project comprised a full refurbishment of the first floor office space within the Riccarton Campus’ Estates Services Building to create a modern, open-plan, functional and efficient working environment for the various departments within the Project Services Team to work collaboratively.
The works comprised the internal alterations and refurbishment to selected rooms within the existing first-floor offices to accommodate open plan workspaces and two meeting rooms to better facilitate the requirements of the end users.
The improved office space created a more vibrant and collaborative working space with improved lighting and brighter finishes and upgraded data and fire safety systems. The existing rooflight wells were modified to create better distribution of natural lighting and create a seamless interface with the new suspended ceilings and digital scene-controlled LED integrated lighting.
The open plan office created increased the number of workstations and also introduced new meeting rooms to improve the functionality of the workspace and enhance the facilities available to the users.
