PROJECT DESCRIPTION

EC Specialist Contractors carried out alteration and refurbishment work at Randolph Wymess Hospital, NHS Fife to convert and transform existing Wards into GP Consultation Rooms.

The works included: down-takings, new drainage system, new partitioning incorporating glazed screens, new ceiling finishes, decoration, new internal doors, Mechanical & Electrical services installation (new lighting, power and alteration to ventilation and fire alarm system), new flooring along with installation of proprietary fitments and fittings. The project was delivered and completed on programme, allowing a delighted client to put the new facilities into operation on the planned opening date.

Despite a number of challenges the project was delivered on budget and handed over defect free and with no health and safety incidents.
