PROJECT DESCRIPTION

EC Specialist Contractors completed a full interior fit-out of an empty shell unit within the Moxy Hotel, Fountainbridge, Edinburgh to produce temporary accommodation facilities for the client developer Vastint Hospitality UK Services Ltd

The contractual scope of works included the laying of floating screed throughout the full footprint to provide a smooth and level floor fit to receive finished floor coverings; the installation of new partitions forming the office facilities (offices, meeting rooms, welfare areas and toilets); alterations to the shell core M&E service installations to facilitate the new layout, installation of new ME&P services for the new male & female toilets and kitchen facilities; the creation of changing facilities and break out areas.

All works were successfully delivered to the highest quality and completed on programme for a very satisfied client who was received their new accommodation snag/defect free and all within the contract budget thus allowing Vastint to move in and start running their operation seamlessly from day 1.
