Team Profile: Craig Robertson
Craig is an extremely experienced Construction Manager with over 40 years’ experience in the construction industry with a vast knowledge of Contract Management in both new and traditional construction methods. He has a strong knowledge of all stages of Project and Contract Management from pre-construction tendering, planning and development through to contract delivery and completion with experience across the many forms of construction contract (JCT, NEC 3&4 and Design and Build).
Having served his apprenticeship as a carpenter and joiner, Craig worked his way up to Board Level with a Tier 1 Contractor and more recently a highly respected fitout and refurbishment contractor specializing in live environment working. Craig has delivered overall management responsibility for new build, residential, major interior fitout, refurbishment and alteration projects for a number of private and public sector organisations and amongst the many construction management successes he has delivered across his career.
Craig is responsible for EC Specialist Contractors operational delivery and is involved in all stages of the process giving support to the bid team, programming and planning on contract award, project management of the site delivery teams and liaison with all project stakeholders engendering a teamwork approach with a clients and the professional design teams. Craig will assume the role of Design Manager when required ensuring effective design coordination throughout the project team with accountability for all aspects of quality, health & safety and environmental management.
Craig is extremely well regarded in the sector for being highly communicative and customer-centric, ensuring that the appropriate management systems, work processes and procedures are complied with to ensure successful delivery of contract every single time. His ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships is the key to his emphasis on client care and satisfaction at all stages of the process.
